The Tuscan Regional Government and Value Team at BIT (international Tourism Exchange)

Value Team, the Value Partners IT Consulting & Solutions company, is assisting the Tuscan Regional Government in re-launching local tourism via digital channels, from the definition of web strategy for the Voglio vivere così (I want to live like this” campaign through to the communications actions promoting the values, initiatives and images of Tuscany.
The portal is already on-line - www.turismo.intoscana.it – and is designed to maximise usability, valorise fruition and navigation of the contents and to favour an increasingly more active role for users, who are invited to take successive informative and research routes.
Value Team contributed to the concept, design and realisation of a content navigation system based not merely on the simple destination identified by the user, but above all on modulation and correlation of the interests expressed. Thanks to this approach it proved possible to offer integrated content pages with a wide variety of editorial and multi-medial further information, generating a wealth of interest in this element of the site. Thanks to Valute Teams’ HD Video solution, adverts and other tourism videos are also available on the portal, which may be viewed in high definition.
At BIT in Milan (18-21 February 2010) the Tuscan Regional Government presents (pavilion 3, stand H53) its’ tourist resources (seaside, spas, art, wine and gastronomy, nature) in a new technological format, supported by members for the "Voglio vivere così" web campaign team: Value Team, Google, Aruba, ApCom, H-Art, Leader e A-Tono.
The public may consult texts or browse images on new touch-less screen and, at the stations of Fondazione Sistema Toscana (the authority which designed and developed the project for the Tuscan Region), the content for BIT will be re-launched on social networks. The area also hosts a wine-bar operated by the Wine Road Federation and the Wine Tourism Movement which will host tastings of local produce.
